• "Gorgeous takeaway"

  Food was amazing, myself and the kids loved it. Will 100% be using them again. Only down was it took 60 mins to deliver, which if I'm honest isn't a bad thing as it means it's being cooked fresh.

• "Excellent choice of venue"

  We have been visiting the Grapes Tandoori Restaurant for over 20 years now. Needless to say, it holds a permanent place in our hearts ! The food is excellent and never fails to satisfy. Being frequent customers, the staff recognise us and are always on hand to offer their views on any particular dishes we may like. The chef tries to accommodate our requests for slight adaptations to their dishes! My husband likes highly spiced flavours and he is rarely disappointed. The staff are well dressed and always polite. It is a pleasure to visit the Grapes, and we do so frequently! The restaurant is very clean and all the facilities are immaculate. Always a sign of a well-run establishment. We frequently recommend the restaurant to friends and family. As long term customers, the staff recognise us and always try to offer us our favourite table - close to the beautiful elephant. One day it may go missing ............

• "Currying Flavour"

  Although I now live in Somerset, last Wednesday was not my first visit to the Grapes Tandoori and will certainly not be my last. My latest dining experience was typical of previous visits so it is now time that I share my thoughts.

  An inviting, friendly welcome at the door gives you an immediate impression of an enjoyable experience ahead; and you will not be disappointed. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and pleasant background music is sufficient to be heard but does not impair conversation. The professional, courteous staff do not stand over you but will appear at the table as and when required.

  The menu is varied; an abundance of flavours and textures to satisfy all tastes. Everything is reasonably priced. The food is well presented; hot and in generous sized dishes. As I invariably over-order for myself and family, the staff, when asked, will carefully pack remaining food direct from the table into separate take-away containers (it really is too good to leave behind). If you have not tried the Grapes Tandoori yet, you really should do so.

  Finally: my special thanks to the bar staff who serve my favourite Kingfisher beer in the correct glass; just the way it should be! Truly customer focused.

  I have no hesitation in recommending the Grapes Tandoori to you - and I have enjoyed very good Indian food for some 50 years now.

• "Best Takeaway"

  We decided to have a delvery on Friday - My husband and I thought it was probably the best delivery we have ever had. Everything was perfect you would have thought it had been cooked in our kitchen it was so hot.......
